Which website should I use to book my flight to Disneyworld?

I am trying to plan a Family vacation to go to Disneyworld. We are thinking about flying on west jet either from Grande Prairie alberta canada or from Edmonton alberta canada. I also want a hotel close to disneyworld but making sure my wallet doesnt thin out.

I personally prefer the Airline websites themselves, they usually have the same or better deals and no booking fees. Continental (if they fly from your area) has been doing some great deals. Depending on when you are going, you might be able to take advantage of the Room + Dining deal that WDW is doing. You pay for a room (they say for 5 nights but I’ve seen it done with less) at any Disney resort and you get 2 fee meals per day at the park for each person staying in your party. The value resorts are about $80 per night, free transport to the parks, get the extra magic hours at the parks, and get free food (a great value that can be used for character meals too). It is on the Disneyworld website.
I personally have found that Kayak.com has very good pricing. Can’t help with the hotel as we have stayed on Disney property on the trips we have taken.
I typically search on the "discount" sites and then go to the airlines website to see if I can get the same deal. I prefer booking directly from the airline whenever I can. I’ve had a couple of experiences with the airlines where they insist that I don’t "REALLY" have a seat because I booked the ticket on Orbitz or whatever.
I’ve stayed on Disney property most of the time that I’ve gone. There are a wide range of options in terms of finances so I would suggest that you explore that route. If you stay on property you get early entry to specific parks on certain days; your room key functions as your ticket and can be set up to function as a "charge card"; you get package delivery to your hotel from the parks; free transportation from the airport to and from your hotel; free transportation on the Disney bus system all around the park; there is a food court at every hotel; and you don’t have to get a rental car unless you want one. Having stayed off site a couple of times I can honestly say that in my opinion it is worth it to pay a little extra to stay on property.
Plus, you can make plane reservations (for travel in the US at least, I don’t know about from Canada) on the Disney vacation website. I would suggest using the Disney website to plan out a vacation, see what it would cost and then go from there.
Well, another suggestion is to drive to the closest airport in the states and fly Southwest… much cheaper than West Jet. I live in Toronto and thats what we do.

Also look for flights that have a layover. They are cheaper than direct flights.
As for a hotel close to Disney – try the Seralago. It’s old but it does the job – perfect for sleeping, roomy, theres a couple of pools and very close to Disney.
Another option would be to rent a house – http://www.villadirect.com . They have many that are within 3 miles of Disney and you can cook your own food. That’s what we always do.
