What is the best way to get to the disneyworld parks from a hotel that does not provide a shuttle service?

We are going to Disneyworld this month. We will have a car, but I am wondering if there is a way to avoid the parking nightmare that is Disney.

The least expensive option is going to be to take your car. I would guess a taxi to be about $30 each way, depending on where your hotel is. So it will add up the cost quickly. The parking at Disney really isn’t too bad, but it does cost $10. They keep it pretty organized. The only problem is at night when everyone wants to leave, you may consider just waiting to leave until the lot has pretty much cleared.
The only other option that would still be economical would be public transportation. Having never used the transportation I don’t really know how it works, but it will probably be your cheapest option. I assume you would have to find a bus stop and everything, so it wouldn’t be too convenient.
Finally, you could do a private transfer. But again, this will be costly at about $100 for the least expensive option.
It just depends how much you are willing to spend. My suggestion would be to look into another hotel. Staying onsite and Disney is the best with transportation and such, but a lot of offsite hotels offer transportation as well. It isn’t as nice as Disney, doesn’t run as much and can take a lot longer, but if you don’t want to stay at Disney it would be an option.
Take the ankle express
a taxi perhaps?
Really, the shuttles that many hotels provide are the best and cheapest way to get to the parks. If it isn’t too late, why not change your reservations to a hotel that does offer the service.
Other than the shuttle service, the only other option is to park the car in the lot. You will be charged for parking for the day, $10 last time I was there, but that was several years ago.
lots of hotels have shuttles that will run you to the parks and back… you should check with the hotel you’re staying at…
Yeah, what they said! A taxi costs $30-$40 EACH WAY. Parking is $9- not too bad in comparison, and much more convenient than a taxi. Or move your reservation. You could also check if any neighboring hotels offer shuttles that you could buy a ride on.
The city bus, NOT hahah use a taxi service
