I’m going to Disneyworld, Florida for one day (i’m spending the other at universal). It’ll be sometime between Christmas and New years because it’s for my birthday. I have to choose one park that i can go to for a day. My dad and grandparents will be with me. My dad and I like rides and my grandparents won’t go on rides but like to look around. The Hollywood place is out (I don’t really like it). Also if you have any tips about a day in Universal, add them. Thanks.
we’ll be going to "Island of Adventure" in Universal

You are going at the busiest time of year, so be prepared to wait in lines. If I could choose just one park, I would choose Magic Kingdom. However, it is also the busiest. Considering the time you are going and the fact that your grandparents are going, I would recommend Epcot. There’s lots of fun things to do there, it is a huge park so it absorbs crowds better than Magic Kingdom, and there will be lots for your grandparents to enjoy, especially in the back section called the World Showcase.

Will you be going to Universal Studios or to Islands of Adventure? Islands has better rides if you are a thrill-ride lover, but Universal has several good shows that you can watch, which, again, your grandparents could enjoy with you. So I would suggest Universal Studios. Pick up a Times Guide when you get there to see when all the shows will be on. If you want to ride the Mummy (coaster), go do it first thing before the lines get absurd. Then if there are any other must-do rides, I would do them next. Then just go from there!

When you go to Universal be prepared for a lot of walking unless you get perferred parking.

For Disney, Magic Kingdom is going to be very busy but all of the parks will be that time of year. Magic Kingdom has fun rides, some of which are kind of thrill rides but others are just ones where you sit and watch interesting things and 3D shows. That way your grandparents can have fun too.

I think Epcot and MK are great because there are both lots of thrill rides and also lots of rides that are tame and relaxing that your grandparents might like! Plus there is a lot to do and see at both parks. If your family really likes technology and/or traveling, Epcot has both future world and the world showcase!
If you want a more classic Disney experience, the Magic Kingdom offers the same thing. MK has 28 total attractions, some of them shows, and some tame rides, which will give your grandparents plenty to do!
