Well, the flower and garden festival is going on at Epcot right now and the food and wine festival will be going on there in the fall. At the Magic Kingdom, there’s the princess and pirates nights that are kinda random throughout the year. There are a lot more but it depends on what kind of things you are interested in. If you pay for certain tickets, you can go to members only food tastings and private character meet and greets. Disney’s website, unfortunately, doesn’t seem to be all that informative. You can find other sites that give you a lot more info. Just type in "Disney World events" in a search engine and go from there.
Star Wars™ Weekends at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

May the Force be with you as you venture into Disney’s Hollywood Studios Theme Park (formerly know as Disney MGM Studios) to celebrate all things Star Wars™.
Held over 4 weekends in May and June this special event celebrates the classic sci-fi series. Encounter over 50 Star Wars™ characters such as Darth Vader and Darth Maul to Anakin and Chewbacca, Jedi Masters, Princess Leia, Luke Skywalker, R2-D2, Storm Troopers and all of your other heroes and villains from the movies.
Even Mickey, Minnie,Goofy and Donald dress up for the occassion.
