Is Disneyworld separated into different theme parks like the Disneyland Resort?

Disneyland and California’s Adventure is separate, and you have to pay for each one, or at least get a park hopper ticket. In Disneyworld, do you also have to pay for the different locations of the theme park. Like Epcot and Animal Kingdom?

Yep, all are seperate. If your still in the planning stages I hope this helps.
You will need about 2 days to do all of Magic Kingdom (most like Disneyland), 2 days for Epcot (half the park rides and half is shopping through the various countries), you can try and cram Animal Kingdom into a day and the same with MGM studios, but take a day and 1/2 to really make sure you see it all.
Note: MGM studios has alot of shows that are worth seeing, but they only have a few showings each day, so get there early and plan around them before you do the few rides that are in that park
If you are staying in a Disney resort, make use of the Extra Magic hours before and after regular hours. Also, the dining plan is really a great value but is only availible when you are staying in a Disney resort.
The place is really huge, and I don’t doubt that you could fit Disneyland park (not including the other extra stuff like resorts and parking) into the Epcot parking lot. It is basically a city onto itself (has its own freeway system even).
Quest is a 5 story arcade ($50 an adult) but is really fun, but you really need a whole day to do that also (kids love it)
When you price the tickets out, getting a 6 day pass with the hopping option and adding on the ‘more’ which gives you a few entrences to Quest, both water parks ($50 each day/each park) and Pleasure Island (mostly dance clubs for over 21 crowd) it isn’t very much for all the entertainment you recieve. (Note:Quest is not at Pleasure Island, it is at the far end of Downtown disney and Pleasure Island is in the middle of the Downtown disney area)
Good luck on your planning and have fun!
when we went we didn’t have to pay to go to all the different theme parks.
Yes they are separate.There are
1.Magic Kingdom
2.Epcot
3.MGM Studios
4.Animal Kingdom
5.Disney Boardwalk
I got a hopper ticket so yes you d pay separate. If you add all of the prices together. The hopper is a better deal.
yes, there are four Theme Parks. and yes, you need seperate tickest or park hopper ticket. they also have one Indoor Video game Park called Disney Guest. most people don’t know about that one. and those that do seem to like it. if you like video games you will probably like it. you pay to get in and all the video games are free. the only thing you pay for are games of chance (where you can win coupons and trade them in for prizes) and food.
The Boardwalk is a hotel that has an attraction area with restaurants, a dueling piano bar (open only at night) an some midway type attractions. its free.
you should get a park hopper so u can go in any one all day. my fav is magic kingdom. Splash Mountain!
Yes, it is like Disneyland, just bigger! There are four parks at Disney World: Magic Kingdom (with Cinderella’s Castle, most like Disneyland), Epcot, Disney-MGM Studios, and Animal Kingdom.
It works the same way. You can purchase the park hopper option to add-on to your ticket so you can go to all parks in the same day. Or you can buy tickets without the park hopper so that you can go to one park only per day, but you can leave and come back to that park. And of course, you can buy multi-day tickets and add the park hopper options, no expiration options, extras such as water parks, etc.

The park hopper pass is the best value. You can come and go to all the parks all day throughout your visit. Also, the video place the one comment refered to is called Disney Quest and it is located in Pleasure Island. Pleasure Island is free to get into but it really is a bunch of nightclubs and restaurants so if you were taking kids to Disney Quest I recommend doing it earlier. My kids wanted to go to Disney Quest twice, that’s how much they enjoyed it. I don’t remember the cost to get in though. One more thing, If your use to Disneyland you might not be ready for the size of Disney World. Our one bus driver told us that Disneyland could fit in Epcot’s parking Lot. Don’t know if that’s exactly true but he was serious when he said it. Oh yeah, you might want to check into the food plan. It sounds like a lot up front but once you get there and see the cost of the food you realize it is well worth the money.
Have a good time!!!
