How do you get DisneyWorld tickets?

My family on I are planning on going to disneyworld in about 2 weeks, and we might get the tickets online a week before we go. But how do we recieve the tickets, do they send it in mail or do you pick them up? Are the lines really long when you pick them up,and what is the proof you use to get your tickets? ( I dont want to mess up and ruin my whole family’s vacation, so thats why im asking. Thanks!
