Next week I’ll be staying at the Pop Century Resort in Disneyworld for my first time with my boyfriend. I am trying to keep the trip as cheap as possible because I am a college student. I was wondering if anyone knew of a grocery store close by that we could take a bus to or walk to to grab snacks and drinks. Thanks!

On site of the hotel there is a store and food court (somewhat diner themed) The hotel is not one big building. It is many buildings and you enter your room from outside. There are no indoor hallways and one of the buildings has the main desk, an arcade, the store and food court. If you bought the dining plan some snacks and drinks would be included which also can be purchased at the parks. If you didn’t get the dining plan you should purchase it when you get to the hotel. It’ll save you money.(Here’s a tip: take the buses at the hotel to the parks. It will make your trip a lot easier) As for official grocery stores, you would have to leave the Disney property. When I went to Disney World in January we only left the park once. Really everything you need is on Disney property. .Have fun! You’ll love it.
Several grocery stores close to the Pop Century Resort are Publix, which is located about 2 miles from the hotel, and Gateway Supermarket, which is just over 2 miles from the hotel. You could also try going to 7-Eleven if you just want some snacks, and it is also 2 miles away.
Here’s a map you can look at: http://maps.google.com/maps?f=.....&z=13
There is a Hess gas stations inside DW property wher eyou might find some of your drinks and snacks. One is across Downtown Disney (Pleasure Island) you can get there by Disney bus then walk across the street. If you want a real grocery store you will need to go off property the nearest one is the Goodings Supermarket in the Crossroads shopping center
