For food, it depends what type of food/atmosphere you like. Personally I like:
    Breakfast- Kona.
Lunch- Sci Fi Drive in theatre
Character breakfast- Crystal Palace or Chef Mickey’s.
    Dinner- Le Cellier.

Quick snacks are all over the parks. For counter service in each park:
    Magic Kingdom- Cosmic Rays.
Hollywood Studios- The booth on Sunset Blvd.
    Animal Kingdom- Yak and Yeti.
    Epcot- Electric Umbrella.

The most unique souveneirs can be found at Epcot’s World Showcase shops. All of the other shops offer the same merchandise over and over again. The biggest gift shops are in Downtown Disney in their Marketplace, Magic Kingdom on Main St. and Mouse Gears in Epcot.

Disney.com will send you free maps. Other places to view menus, park info, basically anything you need to know go to:
    Allears.net
    intercot.com

definitely try out the rainforest cafe which is right outside the Animal Kingdom gates.( A little pricey but well worth it). Also Sci-fi dine-in at hollywood studios is pretty cool and they have great food for affordable pricing.(they play movies/movie clips while you eat). and also a great pizza place is Pizza Planet in Disney’s Hollywood studios. Not really to sure for quick grab places,(we usually sat and ate), theres tons of places to shop also. As long as you walk around the parks youll find multiple places to shop. Disney has some amazing shows also, definitely do not miss Fantasmic which plays in Hollywood Studios. Its a truly amazing show.(must see). also the Indiana Jones show is pretty cool too. The lion king show is another must see. Now for rides….lol…Rockin Roller Coaster which is hosted by aerosmith (not really). Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, and definitely Everest. Really any ride at disney is amazing but these were some of our favorites. Also a suggestion would be to get the park hopper tickets. They are well worth it. Hope you have alot of fun. We cant wait to go back

You’ve gotten some great advice already. I’ll just add to that. Make sure you make dining reservations soon. They fill up fast. We’ve been to WDW 12 times. Our favorite restaurants are: Boma’s (Animal Kingdom Lodge), O’Hana’s (Polynesian Resort), Crystal Palace (Magic Kingdom), Coral Reef (Epcot), & San Angel Inn (Epcot-Mexico). For fast food: The Electric Umbrella (Epcot), La Cantina De San Angel (Epcot-great place to watch Illuminations), El Pirata (MK), Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe(MK), Columbia Harbour House(MK), Tomorrowland Terrace Noodle Station(MK),ABC Commissary (DHS), & Restaurantasaurus (AK). Try one of the delicious turkey legs too. We usually buy one from the stand across from Pecos Pete Tall Tale Inn & Cafe & then go inside the Cafe & eat it. There are shops all over. The best place to find most everything is the World of Disney Store in Downtown Disney. Check the Disney website for shows & rides to see what you like best. The Festival of the Lion King (AK), Finding Nemo-The Musical(AK),Muppet Vision 3-D, Beauty & the Beast-Live on Stage(DHS), & Voyage of the Little Mermaid(DHS) are spectacular. On the website you can order or print out free maps & a DVD. Get Fast Passes (Free) for rides & plan as much of your trip ahead to save on time. If you are staying on-site you get get into certain parks earlier & stay later (Extra Magic Hours). You can also purchase a mug that you can refill throughout your trip. Don’t forget light rain jackets, & sunscreen. Wear comfortable shoes. Have Fun!

There’s alot of fast food places in the park. There are also alot of small stands withice cream and popsicles.

You have to see every ride.

Here is a disneyworld interactive map so you can see what you want to ride and stuff (:

My family is going August 24th-29th. So maybe I’ll see you? Lol.
This is what we’re doing, food wise. We have the dining plan and we’ll be eating at Cinderella’s Castle, Sci-Fi Dine-In Theatre Resteraunt, Tusker House, Chef Mickey’s, Les Chefs De France, etc. Those all look like really fun places, so try and make reservations!
