Me and my husband are going to Disneyworld at the end of march with our 2 yr old son. I have done tons of research, but I dont think it’s the same as asking people who have had the full "toddler" experience, any tips?

I have taken a toddler around with me and talked to other parents about this same subject. One of the best things we have done is stayed on property. If you can afford it stay at a Monrail resort. Its makes it so much easier to go back to the hotel for a quick nap or a dip in the pool. I found my boy was more into the pool at the hotel then anything else.
Most attractions that have a hieght restriction do have a baby swap program. This lets one parent ride while the other goes on the ride and then you can swap without having the other to wait in a long line.
Also be aware that every park has a Baby Care Center. This is a great spot if you just need a quiet cool room to take care of any bussiness (changing, feeding, time out. etc. ) They also sell anything you might have forgotten about.
As I said earlier my boy was more into the pool, So we didnt get to do to many rides but he did enjoy the sights and sounds of the parks. We had a great time over on Tom Sawyer Island. He and I also both really enjoyed taking the train around too.
Overall it was a nice trip and quiet a different experience then previous trips.
They usually dont like hugging ppl..so dont do that
I have had that experience so i think i can help! First off STAY ON PROPERTY! This will save you a lot of money and time. Also, don’t expect to spend like a whole day just at a theme park. Chances are your 2 year old will get stressed out and tired from all the excitement. So make sure to take your family back to the hotel for an 1-2 hour(s) nap. This will actually save your time AND a unneeded melt down! This is where the big question comes in, "Should I book a resort with monorail acces?" I think you should answer that question yourself, would you rather spend more money on a hotel, or book one of the moderate hotels with just bus service or sometimes boat ride acces. I would recommend a hotel with acces to the monorail because the buses tend to be very crowded and crowds can be very stressing for a 2 year old and YOU trying to keep track of him/her. If you pick a resort with only bus service then I say get your 2 year old up early to take use of your Extra Magic Hours. EMH are times when disney visitors that are staying on site can either visit a park an hour earlier then other park guests or numorous hours later then normal park guests. If you choose to go earlier in the morning than that will help you out in beating the crowds, so then your still tired 2 year old can sit on the bus and maybe take a nap. (I say this because at around 10:00 the buses tend to be crowded making some families stand).
I think I answered your question to te best of my ability and I hope i helped you out!
MAGIC KINGDOM!
We went with my 3 year old cousin 2 years ago and she absolutely loved magic kingdom, theres more rides that little ones can go on which arent too busy and you dont have to wait long
She also loved seeing all the animals in animal kingdom aswell, also the lion king show was a big hit
Definately try and keep them out of the sun because its easy for them to become burnt or become grouchy becayse of the heat
Plenty of fluids, it can get quite gruelling out there in the florida sun!
Have Fun x
One thing that really worked for us when we took our young son was to bring several thin blankets, and heavy clips (I bought mine at Walmart in the clothing hanger aisle). So when he needed a nap we just clipped the blankets around his stroller making a tent for him so he wasn’t distracted and could actually sleep. That way we didn’t have to head back to the hotel for naptime and he slept fine. And bring lots of snacks and water for him. Have fun!
1. If you have a comfy stroller that he can sleep in, bring it. A big basket on the stroller is also great. Do be aware that you will have to fold the stroller to get on the parking lot trams, and a few of the attractions. You can get quite adept at one parent grabbing the kid and bag, and the other doing the fast stroller fold.
2. Bring juice boxes and snacks etc.
3. You will have to go at his pace. If he gets cranky, you will either have to get him to nap in the stroller, or go to a ‘boring’ attraction, or maybe leave and come back.
4. If you will have your car in the parking lot, you can park hop around noon. Many kids will fall asleep in the car seat for a short nap. It is also kind of a sensory break for them.
5. Take him to a movie before you go. Many of the attractions are theaters. Get him used to the lights going out and the sound coming on.
6. SUN SCREEN.
7. Go at his pace. If he is having fun you will have fun. If he is not having fun you will be miserable.
