Its that time of the year when you celebrate your birthday, 55th one this year. Your wife, just a few years behind, asks you what you’d like as a present. Hmmm let’s see – you’ve got a cupboard full of gifts you haven’t really used so what else could there be? We’ve got an option you’d love to try. How about taking a cruise? Where? Well- anywhere you want to go – there are so many cruise lines world over!

It doesn’t matter if you want to go somewhere warm such as Costa Rica, Thailand or Hawaii or if you want to cruise through the Arctic, you can go anywhere. There are numerous choices available with several excellent choices among them.

Among just a few of the features of taking a cruise now there are those cruises with your age in mind; any age for that matter. For example, cruises that are considered somewhat moderate are those that have offshore hiking and other activities. However, the easy cruises offer more sightseeing and taking in attractions along the cruise. This doesn’t even include the entertainment, activities, and luxuries of being onboard a beautiful cruise line ship either. Cruise line ships with pools, elegant quarters, wonderful dining, and so much more for an individual to enjoy.

A memorable expedition and a time to remember, many individuals often take more than one cruise.

There are a lot of cruise shore excursions from the cruise ship as it stays in one area for a while, so those aboard can get sightseeing and other activities in; just another great benefit the concept of a cruise has to offer their passengers.

In case you can’t plan too much in advance or have decided to take a cruise at the last minute, you needn’t despair. Most cruise lines offer a variety of departure schedules so that you can adjust according to your comfort. Certain cruises last quite a while.

When you are in your fifties, you would more often than not want a relaxed peaceful trip. Maximum excitement could be the festivities on board or the marine life you get to see. People have reportedly seen dolphins swimming beside the liners at see a number of times. You could probably report a similar experience too while you sit by the pool side on the deck and enjoy the brilliant sun, the sparkling sea, azure sky, starry nights and the cool sea breeze!

The passengers get the opportunity to go sight seeing and visit a number of other attractions while the cruise lines gets extra supplies they need when an extended cruise is in one of the numerous ports it stops at.
