When you live in a region of the world with sunshine and beautiful moderate weather all year round, you are in the perfect location to house some of the most incredible theme parks in the world. That is exactly what you will experience at Dreamworld in Gold Coast.

This theme park offers more than just thrill seeking, dare devil rides, although there are plenty of those with rides like the Tower of Terror , the Giant Drop, the Cyclone, the Claw and a multitude of other rides that you will find in Ocean Paradise. And don’t forget to pick up some tickets to Screamworld for a night time adventure that is not for the weak at heart.

Families with small children need not worry though, because there are a wide variety of rides and attractions geared towards a younger audience. Just stop by Nick Central for rides that the little ones will enjoy and they can meet their favorite friends from Nickelodeon as well as they make their way around this area of the park. Also, while in Nick Central be sure to take in the Sponge Bob show which is a family favorite. Ride the Dreamworld Train to the Australian Wildlife Experience where the whole family can experience nature up close and personal, feeding and observing natures creatures in a safe and loving environment. As the weather heats up, take a break from it all in the air conditioned IMAX theater where you can take in some movies and just relax, and then head over to Wiggles World, where you will find fun abounds as you join some familiar friends as you explore and ride the rides in this fun kid friendly mini park.

Travel with older kids can be even more challenging, but Dreamworld has thought of you as well providing some great activities for the teens and tweens. Of course they can add on any of the thrill seeker activities or little kid activities as they desire, but here are some fun things for those middle of the road children to see and do. Take in the tigers in a presentation on Tiger Island , and try out Mick Doohan’s motocoaster. Check out the crocodile show at the Australian Wildlife Experience and then head over for Slime Time Live and Nick Central. You may even want to take in a movie at the IMAX or the Sponge Bob Show while you are over there. If water rides are there thing then be sure to check out Thunder River Rapids and the Log Ride for some splashing good fun. Consider playing dress up and getting some pictures taken in costume at the Old Time Photos booth. Then why not get a bite to eat and then take in the Sunset Safari, upgrade tickets can purchased in the park.

No matter what age, you are sure to find something to enjoy at Dreamworld. It should be a stop on everyone’s Gold Coast vacation itinerary.
