If you are going to be attending the World Cup Football in South Africa in 2010, you need to start looking for cheap UK flights now. The closer it gets to the time for this event, the more expensive travel is going to get. You have to come to SA to watch the football, even if you only want to see Bafana Bafana get its ass whipped by some obscure team, it will be worth every penny.

One of the best things about traveling to South Africa for British football fans, is the exchange rate. Presently this is staying around Rd 12 to a pound, so you will be assured of a good time, and beer and cigarettes are cheap compared to the UK! Getting your UK flights booked and paid for now, will give you plenty of time to save up spending money, and you won’t need that much anyway with the exchange rate, your air fares are going to be your most expensive outlay.

Johannesburg is a beautiful city and you will never regret having made the effort to visit, football aside. Crime is not any more of a problem than it is in any major city world-wide, I know, I live here. It is a brilliant tourist destination, the people are friendly and all you really need to do is take note of precautions to prevent becoming a victim of crime, remember this is Africa, things are different here.

Flights from all the large cities in the UK can be found and there are many alternative airlines which also may be used. Besides the obvious British Airways, Virgin and South African Airways, if you are not too bothered about flying direct, you should look for flights on Emirates, Air Tanzania, Ethiopia Air, Quatar, Air Kenya, and Ethihad. You can fly from Manchester, Liverpool, London, Glasgow, Edinburgh and even Newcastle.

Cheap deals are probably even available if you fly on some of the major European airlines, they all land at Oliver Tambo airport in Johannesburg. The really cheap deals may mean that you have to get a bit more adventurous, but good in-flight service is always par for the course and there won’t be any chickens and sheep on board. Flying via another African country is also a great idea, particularly if you can get a stop-over deal and Kenya and Tanzania are also beautiful African countries to see.

The beauty of taking cheap flights on less well known airlines is that you may even be able to fly business or first class, and this advantage is available to the middle class. Whatever your flight decision is, I know you will have a good time at the World Cup games and I know you will enjoy your stay in Johannesburg.

This way, the flight itself becomes part of your break away from home. Whatever UK flights you choose, Johannesburg is getting ready to welcome you – Ayoba!

If you are taking a plane overseas or just around the country, you will want to search for Cheap Flights or maybe UK Flights in order to get to your destination for your next holiday or business trip.
