When choosing one of Ibiza’s hotels you are faced with a huge array of possibilities. This island in the Balearic’s offers a very large choice of accommodation to suit all tastes.
Most of Ibiza’s hotels are conveniently located in the popular beach resorts or in the town centres of Ibiza Town, San Antonio, San Jose, San Juan and Santa Eulalia.
There are many types of hotel to choose from in Ibiza; from simple hostels that offer comfortable beds in simple rooms or student accommodation, usually with a good local breakfast in the morning included in the price, to luxury five star club resort hotels with all-inclusive facilities, lots of activities, food and drinks during the whole day. These have luxury rooms, often with a king-size bed, minibar, television and room service available 24 hours a day.
Other options available are specific party hotels, spa hotels, luxury boutique hotels and agroturism (rural) hotels.
A swimming pool, restaurant, lobby and/or bar and a 24 hour reception desk are the usual features of an average three star hotel on Ibiza.
All types of holiday makers are accommodated for in Ibiza’s choice of hotels. There are specific agroturism hotels for those who enjoy a rural way of living. Party animals can dance the night away in disco’s and bars in hotels which cater specifically for the nightlife. The health conscious have a choice of spa and wellness retreat hotels. There are budget hotels for student on a tight budget and plush conference and business hotels for those executives on company expenses. Families are catered for everywhere in hotels with kiddies pools, play grounds, animation clubs and activity programs.
The all-inclusive holiday option is an increasingly fashionable choice. These holidays are a little more expensive but they include all food, tea, coffee, soft drinks and local alcoholic beverages in the room price. In Ibiza there are many all-inclusive resorts as well as room-only accommodation for those traveller who prefer to organise their own food and drink. Other options are bed and breakfast, half board and full board.
