High End Goggles Made By Scott Lands On Most Wanted List

January 21, 2008 by Ryan Hintz · Leave a Comment

by Ryan Hintz

For being one of the most recognizable sporting logos in the world, Scott sure tries awfully hard to reinvent themselves year round. Producing a wide variety of sport goodness from dirt bikes to wintersports goggles using “revolution” is the only describable term fitting when mentioning Scott.

In 1970 Scott made it big selling their first protection goggles to motocross riders, only to realize that they would enter in one of the first ski goggles utilizing foam ventilation a year later.

Further expanding Scott’s greatness, they began using GORE fabrics, such as Gore-Tex XCR, Windstopper, and Gore Softshell in most if not all if not all of their high-end outerwear jackets and pants. The same kind of attention and design can also be said when referring to their premium snowboard/ski goggles.

Sam Hill, Motorcyclist and DH World Champion settled for nothing less than perfection when he chose to to wear the Scott No-Seat 89xi goggles for all his riding needs. These goggles control head and moisture using specific face foam to keep the rider comfortable and focused. It most definitely doesn’t stop there, the exact skillful and creative logic can also be said for all of Scott’s goggles. What else would come from the greatest snowboarding manufacturer in the world.

In the midst of their amazing line of goggles, Scott introduced the Six-Base Injection Molded Polycarbonate Dual Lens. This feature provides a natural view by enabling undistorted light to go through the lens.

For the ultimate experience of comfort, Scott goggles are enact with multi layer face foam, adding an extra layer of fleece to the already relaxed hypoallergenic super soft face foam. Needless to say the end product are a pair of warm and snug high end goggles.

Reeling in skiers and snowboarders of all sorts Scott introduced their goggles with special features like helmet compatibility and fog-free performance. Just the idea that specific details went into making these goggles is enough to put Scott on top of the snowboarding industry.

When mentioning the Dual Position Clip System look no further than the Scott Ransom Wintersport Goggle made to keep a consistent face fit for both helmet and non-helmet use. The system works by either placing the clip forward to correctly fit all helmets or back to retract the goggle keeping it flush against the head. Clear visibility and widely distributed pressure is absolutely the sum of these out of this world goggles.

Pinar Del Ro: The Most Western Province Of Cuba Waits For You

January 13, 2008 by Jose Mauricio Maurette · Leave a Comment

by Jose Mauricio Maurette

Not many locations in Cuba display as much natural magnificence as Pinar del Rio. Set apart by the nature, this region hosts two of the six World Reservations of the Biosphere in the Cuba.

The fascination of its flora and fauna represents the primary beauty of the county, and no doubt about it is the territory of the finest tobacco in the world. For those who want to be in direct contact with nature, Pinar del Rio is a must see place. Very close to the city and on route to the Viales Valley, the Aguas Claras Villa stands out for is its characteristic features and it is built in the lands previously occupied by a stunning property in the tropical landscape.

Near to the city and in traffic to the Viales Valley, the Aguas Claras Villa stands out for its distinctive features and it is lifted in the lands of an old and beautiful property in the tropical countryside.

But not only is this area being blessed by nature it is also the cradle of so many Cuban artist. Famous poets, song writers and singers and painters have been born and raised in this territory. Among the most famous are XIX novelist Cirilo Villaverde and painter Pedro Plablo Oliva.

The most frequent party in the area is the guateque, rural celebration that is always carried out around a typical Cuban meal: pig roasted in spike, congr, plantain tostones, yucca with dressing and other vegetables and also with drinks as the Guayabita del Pinar, a typical delicious rum produced in the area.

If you want to visit Pinar del Rio in your holidays in Cuba, you can fly to Havana and then take a transfer to this area. It is located at about 160 kms far from Havana and it takes about 2 hours by road. There are no international or domestic airports in this province so flying directly is not an option. There is although the chance to arrive by boat to the Marinas located in Cayo Levisa and Maria La Gorda.

The most well-known and I would also state most attractive part of Pinar del Rio is Viales Valley. This location has the most wonderful mountain ranges and most picturesque valleys in Cuba. There is not much in terms of accommodation facilities in the vicinity just for not to damage the natural environment. To mention the best I have to include Los Jasmines Hotel, La Ermita and Rancho San Vicente Cottages.

I will always recommend a visit to Pinar del Rio province, especially if you are the kind of tourist that likes to get to know the real country. I would say that including in your holidays to Cuba a stay in this territory will definitely be the high light of your holiday experience in Cuba.

Rental Properties Cyprus Secrets

January 13, 2008 by William Marind · Leave a Comment

For those who want to buy a plot of land and put up a building there, there are certain major points they have to bear in mind. As a rough and general rule, and provided there is a “satisfactory” access, a single house can be erected on a plot of land. If more than one house is required, then water must be provided. The water supply may be either from a public or private source. In the event of private water supply (usually a borehole) its quantity and quality are tested by the Water Development Department.

For all the towns and for some villages there are water development zones and it is most difficult to get public water supply to a property sited outside the zone. Do not take, therefore, the word of the estate agent, the owner or the village muchtar, that water supply can be made available. Remember that the appropriate water authority is the Water Development Department only.

In addition a 1.5%-2% is payable for the structural design and 0.3% for structural supervision. If you are at a loss as to the choice of a suitable consultant, seek the advice of the Registrar of the Association of Architects & Engineers (all licenced architects must be registered). Please bear in mind that in case of large buildings you may be able to negotiate a lower fee (as also in the case of repetitive work).

In these circumstances, promises and the willingness of locals to help may meet the Authority’s objections. A more serious consideration however is section 4A of the Streets’ and Buildings’ Regulations. This amendment of the Law states that, in certain cases, no building permit will be granted to plots of land which are the result of field subdivision. Therefore, the derivation of the site’s title must be examined and verified by the District Lands’ Office.

Snow Boarding Vacation

February 19, 2007 by Lisa · 1 Comment

Around a year ago I went on a snow boarding vacation to Europe and had a great time by all accounts. The best part was that I went with all my friends, all of which had varied abilities in the sport. Some of my friends compete in competitions and the like, whilst others have only been on the slopes a few times in their life. The fact is that we were all really looking forward to it, and we were all sure to enjoy ourselves whilst we were away. The fact is that we do not spend that much time together, as we all went to different colleges whilst others decided to enter the world of work and go out their and get a job.

My Snowboarding Hotel

January 28, 2007 by Lisa · Leave a Comment

I always loved snowboarding for as long as I can remember. I love the way that snow boarding is a sport that is filled with excitement and personality. I also loved the way that snow boarding was seen as a kind of extreme sport. It made me feel almost proud of myself that I was associated with this status. When I firstly hit the slopes and tried snowboarding it was actually a very new sport at the time, and had not even nearly been in the Olympics.
