We are moving to Las Vegas in a week and a half. We already have good jobs lined up in hospitality. However, we are always open to other things and want to be prepared for anything. So what would be the most needed skills in Vegas to get jobs? If we were going to go to school there for something, what would be the most wanted skills?

It all depends on what you’re good at & how hard you want to work. There are always the casino jobs. I’ve known busmen who made good money clearing tables in the nicer dining rooms such as Palace Court at Caesar’s. Same with waitress work. In Las Vegas, there are also schools, hospitals, many corporate offices, etc. so your choices are many. Just choose what you’d like or know & find out what it takes to do it then go for it.

You need to know people who can get you a good job. Period. It’s all about who you know.
