Imperial Palace is another hotel that has a pool, right between Harahs and The Flamingo.

Price compares with Circus Circus and the Stratosphere usually has just a little better price depending on the dates, although it is on the far north side of the strip.

Imperial Palace has a nice location in center strip.

The Excalibur is one of the cheapest hotels on the Strip and it has a good pool and has good rooms. I really like its location and the price is right. Sometimes you can also get a good deal at Luxor which also has a pool and is a step above the Excalibur. I find the best deals for Vegas on Travelocity and then I check the individual hotel’s websites to see if they have better prices. I also sign up for special email deals on the websites and have received some offers for Mandalay Bay for $89/night which is an incredibly good deal.

By the way, a lot of people on Yahoo Answers are going to tell you that the Excalibur is a lousy place and you should stay at Bellagio or Caesars. I’ve stayed at the Excalibur several times and have always gotten good rooms that are clean, normal hotel rooms with comfortable beds and good air conditioning. The staff at the Excalibur is also considerate and helpful and the location is phenomenal.
