A deputy US marshal says at least two federal marshals were shot and a gunman was apprehended after gunfire broke out in the lobby of a federal courthouse in downtown Las Vegas. (Jan. 4)

The gunman was shot in the head and killed. One of the officers that he shot has died. The gunman was carrying a shotgun and a copy of Glenn Beck’s book, “Arguing with Idiots”.
