I’m from the midwest working at local stripclub as a bouncer and bartender. I’m planning on moving to Las Vegas to become a more seasoned bartender and bouncer at a bar or gentlemen’s club in the future. I heard using craigslist is kinda shady especially looking for place in Las Vegas. I’m trying to not spend so much money when starting to live in Vegas. Any suggestions?

roommates.com is also an option – it’s $19.95 for a one month "membership".

Whatever you decide, plan the details very well. Talk talk talk! Communicate as much as you can in advance. Ask for proof of income, and references.
Take time to spell out the responsabilities and expectations between all parties involved, to include rent, utillities, food and any other shared expenses. Put all agreements in writing, to include signatures, and due dates.
If you can, make use of a lease!
P.S. Shady people are everywhere. I don’t judge or knock Craig’s List at all. Just like anywhere else in life, there is good and bad, as well as positive intent to balance the number of scammers. For my own personal preference, I stear clear of realtors. I have never had good experiences with them. I do better on my own and always have by cutting out the middle man.
Just use good judgement, look and think before you leap, you’ll do just fine.
Craigslist is actually a great place to find people.!
Another craigslist site that you can use to find new place in Las Vegas.
