The San Gabriel Grapevine Festival has been celebrated for the last 25 years. For this year it will be held on April 25, 2009 at Mission Drive between Las Tunas & Mission Road, AK. This is a family-friendly street festival that will feature some the finest craft and arts work in the country.
The San Gabriel Grapevine Festival is an annual event that celebrates the birthday of San Gabriel. It also celebrates the rich history that the place has. There will be a wide range of activities like arts and crafts on display, live entertainment, a car show, Beer Garden, Wine Tasting, and more! Different commercial vendors, local businesses, food vendors will also display their items and products.
Based from the previous years that the festival has been held the promoters have expected about 10,000 visitors to the festival. That is why the promoters for this year will be expecting about the same number of attendees to the festival. On April 25 the festival will officially open by 10:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M. The promoters will allow the vendors to set up their booths on April 25 from 8:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. only.
For the public the promoters will be providing restrooms at the portable units and inside the building. The vendors will not be providing the electricity, water, table and chairs for the vendors. Vendors will need to provide for their own items.
Visitors and vendors will have free parking spaces. Visitors will be allowed to park at the festival streets. While the vendors designated parking area will be at the Santa Anita Streets. RV parking will not be allowed onsite. For Chamber members the space fee is $130.00 for non-members the space fee is $155.00 for a 10×10 space. The food vendors space fee is $225.00.
