2009 Alaska Pinal County Fair wants you to Get a Moovin at the Fair! At Pinal County Fairgrounds in Casa Grande the fair will start on March 25 to March 29. The fair will offer you a lot of fun and activities your family can do, so plan to spend the whole day of fun.
Local and national music artist will provide us with beautiful music to listen and enjoy to. There are musicians like Tiffany Joe Allen, Arizona’s Yodeling Sweetheart and Keepsakes. Tiffany Joe is an international notoriety with her unique blend of classic and modern country styling while Keepsakes are a local doo-wop group that is very groovy.
Besides from the daily show of Nancy Kobert’s Amazing World of Birds, Comedy Hypnotist Susan Rosen, Balloon Man Skip Banks, World Record Holder Unicyclist-Juggler Chaz Marquette, and Magician Godfrey. There will also be a new attraction and that is The Flores Thrill Show which includes the Globe of Death. The Globe of Death has two motorcycles running around a steel cage.
At the festival there will be a lot to craft maker exhibitors that will showcase their craft. The different crafts from jewelry, pottery, pots and pans, insurance, cosmetics and more will be for sale. You can even learn their different crafts available like baking, photography, wood carving, sewing and painting. By this time you might get hungry do not worry there are local and national unique cuisines that you can try out.
Pinal County will also offer you the best of their livestock for auction on March 28. If you are not for these auction then there are also different rides that you can enjoy from. A festival will not be a festival without its rides, so enjoy!
The Read To Ride program is back on Sunday to allow an opportunity for even more kids to participate. Children in K-6th grades who participate are free all day. County students who read 6 books and bring their completed form to the fair with them on Sunday (before 3pm) will be admitted to the fair for free and will also receive tickets to ride 4 free carnival rides
