For the past 9 years the Blessed Cross Church Flea Market has been held. For this year it will be held on May 2, 2009 at the Blessed Cross Methodist Church Flea Market, Intersection Of Hiway 169 & 273RD Ave Nw. This is a vendors event that will feature a great amount of products for display that will be held indoors and outdoors.
For the past years the flea market has been held on the third Saturday of May or the Second Saturday of September. The event will open from 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. The promoters will allow vendors to set up their booths on May 1 form 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. and again on May 2 form 6:00 A.M. to 8:00 A.M.
The promoters for the past 9 years have expected about 1,000 visitors to attend this flea market. There will be able as many visitors to this years event because the admission fee is free. The public restroom will be found inside the church.
The parking spaces for the visitors and vendors will be free. Visitors designated parking area is at the churchs 100 parking lot and the streets. For the vendors the parking area will be at the far end of the church parking lot. RV parking will not be allowed on site.
The promoters will be able to provide limited supply of electricity for the vendors. They will not be able to provide water, table and chairs for the vendors. There will be tables and chairs available for a $5.00. Or vendors will need to bring their own tables and chairs.
The promoters will provide the advertisement of the event. The advertisements will be done by posting ads in the local newspaper, radio broadcasting of the event and flyers will be distributed around the area. For vendors who are interested to join the space fee is $15.00 for an inside space of 10×10 and the outdoor space is 25×25.
