Alaska 4th Annual Texas Woodstock Festival

It has been 4 years that the Texas Woodstock Festival has been held. For this year the festival will be held on May 2 and May 3, 2009. This event will be held at the downtown area f Winnsboro. It will open on both days from 9:00 A.M to 5:00 P.M. Vendors will be allowed to set up their booths on May 2 from 6:00 A.M to 7:00 A.M.
The promoters of the festival have planned for a lot of music and crafts to be sold at the festival. The two nights that the festival will be held the Elm and Market Streets will be closed for the live band performers and street dancing. The festival will also feature fine works of crafts and arts.
At last years estimated attendee of 1,500 the promoters are expecting to have about the same number of visitors for this year. The promoters are hoping to have the same amount especially when the festival is a free admission for the public.
There will be free parking for the visitors and vendors. Visitors are allowed to park at the festival streets. For the vendors their parking are will be at the depot parking area. The promoters will allow RV parking only at the city park area.
The promoters will provide portable outdoor restrooms for the public use. The promoters will not be providing the vendors with electricity, water, table and chairs. Vendors will need to bring their own items.
40 craft and arts vendor, 40 retail vendors and 3 food vendors is what the promoters are looking for this year. The craft, arts and retail vendors will have a space fee of $20.00 for a 12X10 booth space. A $35.00 space fee is charge for the food vendor 12×12 booth space. This fee will be good for the two day event.
