4th Annual Texas Woodstock Festival

The Texas Woodstock Festival has been held for the last 4 years. For this year the festival will be held on May 2 and May 3, 2009 at the historic downtown area of Winnsboro. The Texas Woodstock Festival will open on May 2 from 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. and on May 3 from 9:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. The vendors will be allowed to set up their booths on May 2 from 6:00 A.M. to 7:00 A.M.
This is a street festival that will feature a good variety of art and music. For the two nights that the festival will be held the Elm and Market Street area will be blocked of for the live band performance and street dancing. There will be handmade arts and crafts on display.
Based on previous years festival of expected attendees which is 1,500 visitors, the promoters are expecting to have about the same number of visitors for this years festival. The festival will have free admission for the public.
Visitors will be allowed to park at the festival streets for free. For the vendor their free parking will only be at the depot parking lot. Only at the city parking area will be allowed of RV parking.
Portable outdoor restrooms will be available for the public. Electricity, water, table and chairs will not be provided for the vendors by the promoters. The vendors will need to provide for their own things.
For this year the promoters are looking for 40 craft and arts vendors, 4- retail vendors and 3 food vendors. For this year the craft, art and retail vendors space fee is $20.00 for a 12×10 booth space. The food vendors will have a 12×12 booth space for $35.00. This space fee is good for the two days event.
