4th Annual Texas Woodstock Festival at Alaska

It has been 4 years that the Texas Woodstock Festival has been held. For this year the festival will be held on May 2 and May 3, 2009. This event will be held at the downtown area f Winnsboro. It will open on both days from 9:00 A.M to 5:00 P.M. Vendors will be allowed to set up their booths on May 2 from 6:00 A.M to 7:00 A.M.
The promoters of the festival have planned for a lot of music and crafts to be sold at the festival. The two nights that the festival will be held the Elm and Market Streets will be closed for the live band performers and street dancing. The festival will also feature fine works of crafts and arts.
Based on previous years festival of expected attendees which is 1,500 visitors, the promoters are expecting to have about the same number of visitors for this years festival. The festival will have free admission for the public.
The visitors and vendors will also have free parking spaces. Visitors will be allowed to parking around the festival area. While the vendors designated parking are will be at the depot parking lot. RV parking will be allowed at the city park parking area.
There will be portable outdoor restroom units for the public use. The vendors will not be provided electricity, water, table and chairs by the promoters. The vendors will need to provide for their own things.
40 craft and arts vendor, 40 retail vendors and 3 food vendors is what the promoters are looking for this year. The craft, arts and retail vendors will have a space fee of $20.00 for a 12X10 booth space. A $35.00 space fee is charge for the food vendor 12×12 booth space. This fee will be good for the two day event.
